This 18,000sqft fire and emergency services and regional training centre consist of four bays and
includes two classrooms capable to accommodate more than 60 students. The new structure was built
on a foundation of concrete pads, piers, and footings; the structure itself consists of hollow core,
concrete block walls, hss colomns, glulam purlins and beams and steel decking.
LDA was responsible for the structural design and preparation of the contract working drawings for the
training centre. We also provided construction phase services including job site inspections and final
certification upon completion.
